Suspect ID’d in fatal stabbing at Center City SEPTA station
Zair Bennet-Warwick, 23, is to be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who knows where to find him should dial 911.

Philadelphia police on Thursday identified a 23-year-old man as the suspect in the fatal stabbing of another man last week in SEPTA's Jefferson Station in Center City.
Zair Bennet-Warwick, who is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, is to be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who knows where to find him should dial 911 or call homicide detectives at 215-686-3334, police said.
Bennet-Warwick may be hanging out around SEPTA platforms in Center City, police said.
David Simpson, 28, of the 2500 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue, was stabbed at least four times just after 3 a.m. Aug. 9 during what police called a "very violent struggle" on the platform for Tracks 1 and 2 in the B section of the underground station. The incident was recorded on surveillance video.
Simpson was transported to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:16 that morning.
Bennet-Warwick may have been injured in the fight, police said.
Both men, who apparently knew each other, had reported previously to police that they were homeless.
