Fairhill triple shooting injures woman bystander
Gunfire erupted about 6:25 p.m. in the 600 block of West Clearfield Street.

A 23-year-old woman was wounded by a stray bullet from a shooting that targeted two men Monday evening in the city's Fairhill section, police said.
The men had just exited a corner store in the 600 block of West Clearfield Street about 6:25 p.m. when they were approached by a masked man who started shooting at "point-blank range," said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
One of the victims, a 34-year-old man, was shot in the head and was listed in critical condition at Temple University Hospital. The second victim, a 24-year-old man, was shot twice in the left arm. He was listed in stable condition at Temple. Both men were taken to the hospital in private vehicles.
About a half a block away, the woman was struck in the back by a bullet, Small said. She was taken by police to Temple and was reported in stable condition. The woman lives on the block, Small said.
The shooting was recorded on surveillance video. Five spent shell casings were found on the sidewalk where the men were ambushed. The perpetrator was last seen fleeing east on Clearfield.
