Two men killed in separate Philly shootings
A man was fatally shot in Hunting Park and another in Olney on Monday.
Two men were killed in separate street shootings in the city Monday, police said.
In the first incident, an unidentified man, described as in his late 20s, was shot in the head and the right side of his abdomen shortly before 5 p.m. in the area of 13th and Pike Streets in Hunting Park. Police rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:21 p.m.
About 6:15 p.m, a 19-year-old man was shot once in the head in the 5800 block of North Seventh Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
Police reported no arrests or motives in either case.
