New Jersey State Police said a medical examiner has ruled out the possibility that the body is that of John Haggerty, a Haddonfield Memorial High School student who jumped from the Benjamin Franklin Bridge earlier this month.
Shooting of man in Germantown becomes city's 133rd homicide
An unidentified 24-year-old man became the city's 133rd homicide victim of the year on Thursday afternoon, police said.
The victim was shot in the head and chest shortly before 2 p.m. on Woodlawn Street near Morton, Germantown. He died at Albert Einstein Medical Center shortly after 7:15 p.m. Tipsters can contact police at 215-686-3334 or -3335.

assault at Community College
Police are looking for a 6-foot-1, 200-pound black man who indecently assaulted a 21-year-old woman inside a building on the campus of the Community College of Philadelphia on March 27.
Police said the assault occurred inside a vacant room in the Bennell Building, 17th and Spring Garden streets. The assailant, who was bald, muscular and wore a burgundy and white striped shirt and blue jeans, had allegedy followed the victim several times before. Woman killed by lover's car
after spat outside restaurant
A woman was struck and killed by a car driven by her boyfriend after the two had an argument outside a restaurant, police said.
Richard Patton, 51, of New Hope, a lawyer, was behind the wheel of the car that struck and killed Heather Demou, 34, of Doylestown, at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday outside the restaurant in Newtown Township, Bucks County, police said. Patton hasn't been charged, pending an investigation, authorities said.
Shooting in car in Upper Darby leaves man 'not in good shape'
An unidentified 26-year-old man was shot in his car about 11 p.m. Thursday on Marshall Road in Upper Darby. Police said the victim was "not in good shape" at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
