Cops seek missing woman . . .

Police are asking for the public's help to find Doan Anson, 35, who has been missing since Dec. 19 from her home in West Oak Lane.

She was heading for the Willow Grove Mall, her family said. She suffers from severe memory loss. She was last seen Dec. 20, on 17th Street between Race Street and Kennedy Blvd. She is a black woman about 5-foot-4, 80 to 100 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Northwest Detectives at 215-686-3353.

Nathaniel Drummond, 73, who suffers from dementia, cancer and high blood pressure and has had two aneurysms, has been missing from his South Philadelphia home since Friday. A tall black man, he was wearing a green Army jacket, black pants and brown cap and uses a cane.

Anyone with information is asked to call South Detectives at 215-686-3013.

Kwanzaa fete at Free Library

The central branch of the Free Library is hosting the annual Kwanzaa celebration today, tomorrow and Wednesday, from noon to 3 p.m., for the Department of Human Services.

Each child attending will receive lunch and a Kwanzaa gift.

Delco cop car in head-on crash

A Tinicum Township, Delaware County, police car was involved in a head-on collision with a civilian car in Ridley Township early yesterday.

The crash happened about 12:45 a.m. on Stewart Avenue, near the I-95 overpass. The officer and a civilian were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The victims were not immediately identified.

Chester County 9-1-1 goes dead

The Chester County 9-1-1 system failed at 4:12 p.m. Friday and wasn't restored until 8:57 p.m. A back-up system was put into effect. The county Department of Emergency Services requested that Verizon conduct a complete analysis of the failure.

Web site to follow N.J.'s $
