2 dead in West Philadelphia crash

Two men were killed and another was injured when their car crashed into parked vehicles in West Philadelphia.

Philadelphia police said all three men were ejected from their 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix after slamming into multiple parked cars on the 4200 block of Haverford Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash; another died at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The third was hospitalized in stable condition.

All three of the men were in their early 20s, police said. Their names were not released.

Police are unsure whether the surviving man was the driver or a passenger.

Investigators are determining what caused the crash.
