Body found in Delaware River identified

Authorities have identified the woman whose body was found in the Delaware River earlier this week.

Delaware State Police said the woman was a 31-year-old from Vienna, Va., who had jumped from the Delaware Memorial Bridge on Saturday. Her family has asked Philly.com not to publish her name.

Police said a crabber spotted her body south of Pea Patch Island early Monday morning and emergency crews brought her to shore near Delaware City.
