Major delays on N.J. Turnpike after truck fire

There are major delays on the New Jersey Turnpike near Hightstown due to a truck fire.

The truck, which was traveling south, caught fire around 7:30 a.m. near New Jersey Route 33, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All southbound lanes were blocked for a time and traffic was being diverted off the interstate at exit 8A.

Two lanes are moving now, but significant delays continue.
