N.J. woman accused of killing boyfriend with her car

An East Orange woman has been charged with murder, accused of killing her boyfriend with her car after an argument outside a tavern. Zachary Sanders, 33, of West Orange, was standing near his pickup outside the Rubicon bar about 11 p.m. Monday when Natasha White, 31, hit the truck with her silver Lexus, according to Essex County prosecutor's spokesman Paul Loriquet. White then allegedly backed up and ran over Sanders, killing him.

The car also grazed Bernard Kelly, a friend of Sanders' who was standing near him. Kelly's injuries were minor and didn't require medical assistance, Loriquet said.

White was charged with murder, attempted murder, and weapons offenses involving the car. She was held yesterday at the Essex County jail on $250,000 bail. Authorities were still investigating. - AP
