Teenager critically hurt in Kensington shooting

A 16-year-old boy was critically wounded in a shooting on a Kensington street last night, police said.

The victim, whose name was not released, was shot once in the head shortly before 8 p.m. near G Street and Clearfield Avenue. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was reported in critical condition. No further information was available last night. - Nancy Petersen
