A 25-year-old man has been charged in a weekend shooting in the Port Richmond section that wounded two people, including an off-duty police officer, authorities said yesterday.
Police arrested Dario Marrero shortly after the shooting at 12:45 a.m. Saturday in front of the Tattletales bar on Richmond Street near Allegheny Avenue. Police said Marrero's intended target was a man who was shot once in the stomach. He was in stable condition yesterday at Hahnemann University Hospital. An off-duty police officer suffered a graze wound to the cheek while sitting in her car in a Wawa parking lot about 200 yards away, police said. She was treated at the hospital and released.
