PRINCETON - The borough prosecutor is threatening to shut down Princeton University's eating clubs. Cloister Inn, Cottage Club and Tiger Inn are under investigation for allegedly serving alcohol to underage students.
No charges have been filed. But Prosecutor Kim Otis says the clubs, which are like fraternities and sororities, could be shut down for up to a year if they continue to serve.
The historic eating clubs are a center of social life at the Ivy League university. They are owned by alumni. - AP
