Falls Township police say 20-year-old Mark Wassum Jr. was at a Morrisville junkyard on Sunday when jacks holding a car up failed. Although Wassum was able to call for help, the line went quiet shortly after he gave the salvage yard address.
A policeman who arrived thought of a way to find Wassum. He turned on his siren and drove around the lot, instructing the 911 dispatcher to alert him once the sound of the siren through the phone got loud. The officer found Wassum in a remote section of the yard within five minutes.
