West Phila. rink offers free skating tomorrow

West Philadelphia's Laura Sims Skatehouse will host free ice skating, snacks and prizes tomorrow afternoon.

The event, sponsored by the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation and the city's Department of Recreation, will run from 1 to 3 p.m. at the center, Cobbs Creek Parkway and Walnut Street. Philadelphia Phantoms mascot Phlex will be on hand to skate with the participants.
