Man indicted after allegedly giving son pot gift

A Gloucester County man accused of giving marijuana to his 14-year-old son as a birthday present was indicted this week by a grand jury, authorities said.

Albert Fuller Sr., 39, of Williamstown, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Officials at Delsea Regional High School called police March 11 after they caught the boy with a small amount of marijuana. The boy told police he got it as a gift that morning from his father, said Bernie Weisenfeld, spokesman for the Gloucester County Prosecutor's office.

During a search of Fuller's home, police found eight small bags of methamphetamine. Fuller, free on $2,500 bail, faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted, Weisenfeld said.
