Man, 21, dies after being shot in chest in S. Phila.

A 21-year-old man died after being shot in the chest at 16th and McKean Streets in South Philadelphia early yesterday, police said. The shooting occurred at 1:34 a.m. Police arrived after receiving a 911 call. The unidentified man was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead at 1:54 a.m. Police said they had no suspects.
