North Phila. gunfire kills worker in food market

A North Philadelphia store employee was fatally wounded shortly before 6 p.m. yesterday - apparently by a stray bullet, police said.

Craig Young, 41, of North Philadelphia, was struck in the left side of his chest about 5:40 p.m. while working inside Yasmin's, a food market at 2336 W. Jefferson St. He was pronounced dead at 6:41 p.m. at Hahnemann University Hospital.
