Bucks couple sentenced in theft from soccer club

A couple are facing prison in the theft of more than $220,000 from a Bucks County soccer club.

Bucks County Court Judge Albert Cepparulo sentenced 51-year-old John Fox to 10 to 23 months in prison, and 50-year-old Barbara Fox to four to 23 months. He's a former Southampton Soccer Association treasurer, and she has served as president.

The soccer club serves about 700 children ages 4 to 18. It raises money through donations, concession sales and fund-raising events. Cepparulo said he hoped the lesson for children in the club will be "when you steal, you always get caught."
