Two male teenagers, one the son of a Philadelphia police sergeant, died early yesterday morning after their vehicle crossed lanes of traffic on northbound Roosevelt Boulevard and hit a light standard and a tree.

Police were still investigating yesterday why the driver lost control of the 2003 Honda about 3:25 a.m. between Bridge and Pratt Streets. No other cars were involved.
