One man killed, one hurt in Camden shootings

A predawn shooting left one man dead and another injured in Camden yesterday morning.

Saleem Randell, 19, and Dujuan Perry, 18, were holding a conversation at Baring and Chestnut Streets about 2:10 a.m. when they were approached by a man who fired shots at them. Randell was hit with several bullets and was pronounced dead at Cooper Hospital-University Medical Center, police said.

Perry was also hit several times and was being treated at Cooper last night.
