Pennsauken woman found beaten to death
A 72-year-old woman was found beaten to death yesterday afternoon in her kitchen in Pennsauken, Camden County police reported.
A tenant who lived in the home in the 5000 block of Garfield Avenue discovered the woman on the kitchen floor around 1 p.m. Police said she was a victim of blunt force trauma. Because of language difficulties, they were still working to confirm her identity.
The woman, her three family members and the two tenants who lived in the building are all believed to be Vietnamese, a spokesman for the Prosecutor's Office said. There were no suspects.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office Investigator James Bruno at 856-225-8400 or Pennsauken Police Detective Phil DiCarlo at 856-488-0080. - Melissa Dribben
