Phila. pair among 'most wanted'

Ten Pennsylvania fugitives - including two suspects in recent Philadelphia homicides - are about to get a little unwanted exposure.

Ten Pennsylvania fugitives - including two suspects in recent Philadelphia homicides - are about to get a little unwanted exposure.

For the first time in a decade, the Pennsylvania State Police announced yesterday it is publishing a "10 most-wanted fugitives" poster, and the updated list includes two Philadelphia murder suspects.

Though the state police regularly update its most-wanted list when old suspects are captured, the department has not printed a poster for some time, said Cpl. Linette G. Quinn, a department spokeswoman.

"We got to the point where we would try to update it and we'd catch people," said Quinn. She said the department finally issued the new poster with photos of four relatively recent fugitives as a way to draw fresh attention to the list and promote its new placement on the state police Web site:

The new poster will be posted at state police barracks across the commonwealth, she said.

The new additions include Lance W. Crawford, 28, also known as Shawn Crawford, who is wanted in the killing of Anthony Grasso, 26, during a dispute Feb. 29 in the 600 block of Fitzgerald Street in South Philadelphia.

Witnesses told police that Crawford shot Grasso several times in the torso and then picked the victim off the ground and shot him in the head.

Crawford is a black man with a medium build, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with short hair and a short beard. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Police are also seeking Hanh Duc Nguyen, 21, in the March 23 fatal shooting of Bao Nguyen, 23.

The victim was found early on Easter Sunday on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the chest in front of the Phuong Thanh Cafe in the 5200 block of North Fifth Street in Olney. Police said he had been shot inside the bar.

Hanh Duc Nguyen is described as an Asian man with a slight build, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 120 pounds.
