Man found dead in S. Phila.

Police last night were investigating the slaying of a disabled man inside his South Philadelphia home. Steven Mita Sr., 46, of the 1900 block of West Passyunk Avenue, was found by his brother about 5:30 p.m. Mita had a puncture wound to the torso, police said. Initial reports described the death as a stabbing, but police arriving at the scene were unable to determine whether the man had been shot or stabbed.
