Sean Lang, 19, a Lansdale resident and a freshman at Pennsylvania State University's Abington Campus, was among those who died when a commuter plane crashed into a Buffalo, N.Y., house late Thursday, killing all 50 on board.

"You could write five books about him or just say he was special," Lonnie Cooper, Lang's older brother, said yesterday. "He was incredibly loved. His friends looked up to him."

Cooper said his brother, a 2008 graduate of North Penn High School, had been traveling to Buffalo to spend some time with his girlfriend. He had planned to transfer next semester to Penn State's main campus.

"He was interested in a lot of different things," Cooper said, but had not yet settled on a major. "He was extremely close with his friends, very social, and lived life to its fullest. He enjoyed snowboarding, movies, music."

Cooper said a memorial service has been scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael-Sacks Suburban North Chapel, 310 Second Street Pike, in Southampton, Bucks County. In addition to his brother, Lang is survived by his parents, Rana and John Lang, and another brother, Brett Cooper.
