Pa. Marine dies in Afghanistan
A Marine from Hawley, in Wayne County in northeastern Pennsylvania, died Sunday in Afghanistan, the Defense Department said yesterday. Pfc. Serge Kropov, 21, died in Helmand province of a "nonhostile incident" that is under investigation, the department said.
