Both victims were shot in the head. Police said they had not determined a motive in either shooting.
Police said a neighbor returning home at 4:25 a.m. yesterday found Brian Crosland, 18, lying in a vacant lot in the 1800 block of North Taney Street and called police.
Crosland had one gunshot wound to the head, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Saturday, police responding to a report of a shooting at 10:20 p.m. in the 5500 block of Beaumont Street found a 28-year-old man bleeding from numerous gunshot wounds to his head and right arm.
He was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Police were not releasing his name until relatives could be notified.
