"It's about exposing our larger parent community to people who have something to say," Ackerman said yesterday.
Jackson and Ackerman will discuss parent involvement, anti-truancy efforts, and the role of faith-based groups in schools at 11 a.m. at the Merriam Theater, 230 S. Broad St. Tickets are free but must be reserved by calling 215-400-7272.
