Two men were killed in separate shootings Friday night in Philadelphia. A man in his 20's was shot to death after an apparently botched drug deal and exchange of gunfire in West Philadelphia, police said.

A man in his 20's was shot to death after an apparently botched drug deal and exchange of gunfire in West Philadelphia, police said.

Police were called at 9:11 p.m. to the 5400 block of Baltimore Avenue, where the victim was found in front of a house with a gunshot wound to his head and an arm, police said. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene at 9:19 p.m.

Police said the victim had a gun and may have fired at the two gunmen who shot him. Police were checking hospitals for gunshot victims.

Meanwhile, an unidentified man was shot dead in the city's Wissinoming section, police said.

The shooting occurred shortly before 11 p.m. in the 4800 block of Devereaux Street, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. No further information was available. - Robert Moran
