Two more men charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old Westampton man during a July home invasion were taken into custody Monday, authorities said.
Carey R. Greene, 19, surrendered at the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office, and Tyleek A. Lewis, 22, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force at an arranged location in Burlington Township, according to officials. Greene and Lewis were charged Thursday with murder in the killing of Edward J. Baker Jr.
Two other suspects, Toney M. Holliday, 19, and a 15-year-old male, were taken into custody on Thursday. Holliday and the 15-year-old were also charged with murder. Authorities say that two of the defendants, whom they did not identify, were armed with a handgun, and entered Baker's home on Berkshire Road about 10 p.m. on July 16. The others stayed outside. Baker was shot once in the chest and died at Virtua Memorial Hospital, officials said.
Greene, Lewis, and Holliday were being held in the Burlington County Jail after failing to post $750,000 bail. The juvenile was being held in the county's Juvenile Detention Center.
