Twenty-two people in six families were displaced Saturday when a fire broke out in a townhouse inside the Bradford Square development in East Bradford Township.

The Southeastern Pennsylvania chapter of the American Red Cross placed three of the families at a hotel near the development, which is just outside West Chester.

No one was hurt in the two-alarm fire, and no report of the cause was available Saturday night. At least six townhouses were involved in the blaze.

Firefighters arrived at the development on McIntosh Road about 12:20 p.m., and the fire was under control an hour later, West Chester police said.
