Free flu shots will be available at four Bucks County locations Saturday, for residents 3 or older.
The outreach will be coordinated by the county's Major Incident Response Team, which will use the day as a dry run for a potential mass inoculation. Such an incident, officials said, could become necessary following the outbreak of a dangerous communicable disease.
Additional security measurements, therefore, will be in effect Saturday; no bags or purses will be allowed into any facility, for example. Shots will be provided from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the four locations: Calvary Church, 820 Souderton Road in Souderton; Tohickon Middle School, 5051 Old Easton Road in Doylestown; Holland Middle School, 400 East Holland Road in Holland; and Harry S. Truman High School, 3001 Green Lane in Levittown. - Chris Palmer
