Jonathan Peri named president of Delaware County Bar Association

Peri to lead county bar association

ASTON The vice president and general counsel of Neumann University has been chosen the new president of the Delaware County Bar Association, the university announced.

Jonathan Peri, chief legal officer at the university's Center for Leadership, will begin his term in January.

Peri, of Thornbury Township, is a member of the state Board of Education and chairman of the board of trustees of the Walden School in Media. He is also a past chairman of the Upper Darby Community Outreach Corp.

Peri is a graduate of Villanova University and Widener University School of Law. He is working toward a Ph.D. from Eastern University in organizational leadership.

The 141-year-old Delaware County Bar Association is based in Media and has more than 1100 members. - Mari A. Schaefer
