Immaculata to start campus housing construction with a Friday blessing

MALVERN Immaculata University has scheduled a blessing of the ground and its workers for 1 p.m. Friday to signal the start of construction of new campus housing.

According to the school, the first phase of the new housing project will include two of what will eventually be 10 three-story buildings of apartment-style units on the west side of campus.

Each fully furnished suite is expected to feature four or five private bedrooms for single occupancy, a complete kitchen with dishwasher, an open dining and living area with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, compartmentalized bathrooms, and a shared laundry area.

The first two buildings are slated for occupancy in mid-August. For more information on the floor plans and artist renderings, visit www.immaculata.edu/capital/west-campus-housing/.
