Eastern University appoints a new V.P.

Lisa Dippre Titus, who has more than 30 years' experience in fund-raising for higher education, will take office on Sept. 30, the school said. Currently, she is director of planned giving at Princeton Theological Seminary, in Princeton.
Robert Duffett, Eastern's president, said the appointment resulted from "a thorough national search." She previously had worked in development at Bucknell University and was regional vice president for the Presbyterian Church (USA), the school said, and also had experience at Lehigh and Bucknell Universities and Muhlenberg and Moravian Colleges.
In addition, she been a fund-raising consultant to a variety of churches and nonprofit organizations, and has served as a United Way Loaned Executive, the school said.
Eastern University, a Christian university, has about 4,300 students.
