Golf outing benefits local groups

FEASTERVILLE The Feasterville Business Association will present $11,000 in grants to a dozen organizations at a township meeting next month, the association announced this week.

The funds, raised during an annual golf benefit, will go toward groups including the Lower Southampton Police Department, the Playwicki Farm Foundation, and the Sunshine Foundation.

The presentation will occur during the Lower Southampton Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., the association said.

Over the last 24 years, the association said, its golf outing has raised more than $250,000 to benefit charities and community groups.
