UPPER SOUTHAMPTON The Southampton Free Library this week announced that members can access a free music service that provides downloads and streaming for songs and videos.

The service, called "freegal," allows users to choose from about eight million songs and 15,000 music videos, the library said. Users can stream up to three hours per day online or download three titles per week to their devices.

Sign-ups are available at southamptonpa.freegalmusic.com/homes/index.

Users must have a library card number and PIN code to access the site. - Chris Palmer
