EAST WHITELAND TWP. A Frazer nonprofit that helps women in southern Chester County find and keep jobs through free workshops and work-appropriate clothing will open a second location in Kennett Square on Monday.

Wings for Success works to help women become financially stable and self-sufficient. It said it has helped more than 8,000 people since its founding in 1997.

Its larger Frazer office serves about 600 women annually, according to the organization. The nonprofit offers workshops in job interview techniques and how to look and behave while employed.

Wings for Success also helps women who are looking for work or need clothes for jobs they already have. The organization accepts donations of new and gently used accessories, such as handbags and jewelry, and professional and business casual clothing, such as dresses, scrubs, blouses and suits.

The new location will be at 457 Birch St. An open house is scheduled for Jan. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. - Michaelle Bond
