Two people died in a two-car accident Monday night in New Hope at Route 202 and North Sugan Road, a Bucks County official said.

Solebury Township police said a Nissan SUV and Volvo station wagon collided head-on shortly before 7:15 p.m.
The Volvo's adult male driver and a female passenger in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, police said.
The Nissan driver, an adult male, was flown in a medical helicopter to a hospital. His condition wasn't available.
The circumstances remain under investigation. Authorities are asking any witnesses to call state police at 215-249-9191 or Solebury Township police at 215-348-7400.
