Powerball, Mega Millions up again

Powerball's cash jackpot is up to $99 million after no one won it all Saturday night.

Powerball's cash jackpot is up to $99 million after no one won it all Saturday night.

Look at it this way - that's more money than Shrek Forever After raked in this weekend.

So winning would be your own DreamWorks production.

Nobody won $1 million, but three tickets - sold in Florida, Indiana and Wisconsin - won $200,000 each by matching the first five numbers, 19, 20, 40, 47 and 57, but not the Powerball of 29.

As a result, Wednesday's annuity jackpot goes up to $190 million. Before taxes, of course.

In Mega Millions, a Pennsylvania ticket won $250,000 on Friday night for matching the first five numbers - 15, 20, 23, 26 and 30 - but not the Mega Ball of 17. California, Illinois, Ohio and Virginia each had one such winner, too.

Tomorrow's Mega Millions jackpot will be $64 million for the annuity, $41.8 million in cash.

Both games are sold in 40 states, including New Jersey and Delaware. Florida and Louisiana play just Powerball, California sells just Mega Millions, and seven states - Alaska, Alabama, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming - sell neither.
