Powerball ticket sold in Philadelphia wins $1 million

Nobody hit the jackpot in Saturday's Powerball drawing, but two tickets, sold in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, came close.

Each matched the first five numbers -- 12, 15, 22, 43 and 49 -- but missed the Powerball, which came up 14.

Pennsylvania's $1 million winner was purchased at the Sunoco at 4168 Ridge Ave., in the East Falls section of Philadelphia.

The Massachusetts ticket was sold by Tedeschi Food Shops, Cambridge Street, in the Allston section of Boston.

The jackpot rose to $60 million for the annuity, 37.8 million for the cash.

Mega Millions. A Massachusetts ticket also came close to hitting the Mega Millions jackpot on Friday night, winning $1 million for matching the first five numbers -- 4, 5, 11, 51 and 59 -- but not the Mega Ball of 5.

Tuesday's jackpot will be worth $90 million for the annuity, $56 million for the cash.
