A 29-year-old man is dead after being shot while driving in West Philadelphia Saturday night, police said.

The victim was driving a black Dodge minivan on the 600 block of North 52nd Street just after 6 p.m. when he was shot twice in the right side, police said. The vehicle crashed into the side of a commercial building.

The driver was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:20 p.m., police said.

An investigation continues at the scene, where no weapon has been found and no arrests have been made, police said.
