Man shoots wife in Delaware County, kills self after police chase into Philadelphia
The woman reportedly had a protection-from-abuse order against her husband.

A 41-year-old man shot and wounded his wife early Wednesday before killing himself in Philadelphia after a police chase, according to TV news reports.
The 40-year-old woman, who had a protection-from-abuse order against her husband, was shot multiple times in her home near Meetinghouse Road in Upper Chichester Township, police told the news outlets. The mother of three children, ages 10, 16, and 19, ran to a nearby firehouse to get help. She was reported to be in stable condition at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
Police later spotted the husband's car near I-95 and chased him to the Platt Bridge, where he crashed the vehicle into a police car and then shot himself in the head, according to the reports. He was pronounced dead at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
