Clearing the record

A photo caption yesterday stated incorrectly that the Philadelphia Orchestra had not visited China since 1973. The orchestra has been to China five times, including the current Asian tour.

An article in Monday's paper about clotheslines incorrectly stated the number of clothes dryers in the United States. About 80 percent of the nation's 111.6 million households - or about 90 million households - have dryers.
