A column Monday reported that community activist Julia Chinn lost her son in 1990 to gang violence. The column did not mean to imply that he was a gang member. He was killed in a case of mistaken identity.

A column Monday reported that community activist Julia Chinn lost her son in 1990 to gang violence. The column did not mean to imply that he was a gang member. He was killed in a case of mistaken identity.

The caption of a photograph in yesterday's "SideShow" column misspelled the name of Philadelphia Orchestra violinist Herold Klein.

A story in yesterday's Business section gave the wrong name for the head of St. Thomas University's Self Assessment and Improvement Process Institute. He is T. Dean Maines.
