HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, N.J.
- The husband of a former "Melrose Place" actress drove across a lawn and hit a mailbox hours after she was sentenced last month in a New Jersey court for vehicular homicide, authorities say.
Mark Bovenizer, 41, has been charged in Hopewell Township with leaving the scene of an accident involving property damage.
A judge on Feb. 14 sentenced his wife, Amy Locane-Bovenizer, to three years in prison. She was drunk when her SUV plowed into a car, killing a woman in 2010.
Locane-Bovenizer appeared in 13 episodes of TV's "Melrose Place."
