- Three Penn State students were facing charges in a stabbing incident over the weekend that injured two students from another school as they were trying to visit a woman's apartment, police said.
The three suspects were scheduled for a Wednesday preliminary hearing. The most serious charge, aggravated assault, was filed against Brandon Frick, 21, who attends Penn State's Altoona campus. He was held at Centre County Prison on $10,000 bail.
Frick did not appear to have a listed phone number in Altoona and court papers did not list a lawyer for him.
Police said the two victims had come to visit a female friend early Saturday morning.
At her third-floor apartment door, they were allegedly met by the three suspects, who told them to leave. Police say one of the victims then attempted to call the woman, prompting the suspects to emerge from the apartment, each armed with what appeared to be a knife.
