ABOUT A DOZEN students got stuck in a Center City elevator for more than an hour after their prom Saturday night, police say.

The students from Shipley School, in Bryn Mawr, held their prom at Pyramid Club, on 17th Street near Market.

The students were on their way out of the building when the elevator got stuck between the 31st and 32nd floors, according to media reports.

A crew was called in to fix the elevator and free the students, police say.

Nobody was hurt.
