OREGON

1 arrested, 2 sought in shooting

A 22-year-old man arrested after a shooting outside an alternative high school in Portland, Ore., had ties to a gang, as did two of the victims, police said Saturday.

Police said Lonzo Murphy was a "person of interest" in the Friday shooting but weren't prepared to say he was the gunman.

Authorities are trying to find two people connected to the shooting near Rosemary Anderson High School. Three were hospitalized, including a 16-year-old girl who was critically wounded; a fourth person was grazed by a bullet and treated at the scene. Police said two male victims had gang ties. The victims were students or in affiliated job-training programs, authorities say. - AP
