Police are questioning a suspect in the road-rage killing of a Las Vegas mother. Erich Nowsch, 19, a teenage neighbor who had a history with the family, was apprehended on suspicion of murder after SWAT teams surrounded his home a block from the residence of victim Tammy Meyers, 44. Officials believe Nowsch was the gunman, Police Capt. Chris Tomaino said. He has not been formally charged. They are looking for an additional suspect.
Meyers was a kind of mentor to Nowsch, her husband said, giving him money and food. Police initially said Meyers was killed by an angry driver who followed her home. Instead, she dropped her daughter off, police said, and picked up her son, 22, armed with a handgun, to find the driver who frightened her earlier. - AP
