A story Saturday on the unsolved death of Haddon Township child Brendan Creato imprecisely characterized a report on PhillyVoice. The website's report implicitly, rather than categorically, linked affordable-housing advocate Peter O'Connor, an area resident, to the case. It said O'Connor "matches the general description" of a man allegedly seen pushing a baby carriage the morning Creato was reported missing. In an interview with The Inquirer, O'Connor called the implication "ridiculous" and said he was in Massachusetts that day.
A story in some editions Monday about a school bond vote in Burlington Township incorrectly described proposed renovations to the B. Bernice Young School. New floors and bleachers would be installed in the gym; restrooms would be renovated; and parking areas and driveways would be repaired.
A photo caption in some editions Monday on the unveiling of campus and road names at the Indian Cultural Center of South Jersey wrongly identified Mayor Michael Mignogna. He is mayor of Voorhees. It also misspelled the last name of donors Srimati and Paritosh Chakrabarti.
